How much are driving lessons?
Lessons start at £40 for One Hour, increasing to £60 for One and a Half Hours and £79 for Two Hours on a pay as you go basis.
Options are available for block booking as well as intensive courses.

Do you pick up from home?
Of course! Options are available for other locations dependent upon prior agreement in order to manage the day effectively.

Can I pay weekly/monthly?
This is where the option to block book comes in. You can pay in advance for 5hrs or 10hrs, see the driving lesson page for more info.

Do you teach nervous drivers or those with additional needs?
Everyone is welome no matter how nervous or confident you may be. Each lesson is tailored to you and your needs, there's no one size fits all! The experience I've gained in the emergency services and training courses I have attended has provided me with in-depth knowledge to assist those with additional needs.

Do you do refresher lessons?
Yes! Passed your test a while ago and not driven since? Nervous to get back on the road after a period of not driving? Regain your confidence with a lesson tailored to you and get back on the road without fear.

Do I drive on my first lesson?
There are myths out there that you can spend an entire one or two-hour lesson stationary, without the car ever moving. We have heard of companies that do that, but it’s not something we practice at Matt's.
Our goal at Matt's is to get you driving as quickly as possible on your first lesson without compromising your safety.

How fast can I pass?
There isn't a straightforward answer. Everybody learns differently and at a different pace. At the time of writing this the current wait for a driving test is on average 12+ weeks. Of course cancellations are available but your instructor will not take you for test unless you are ready.
