A career as a driving instructor offers many benefits, including:
- Flexible working hours that fit around your lifestyle.
- Potential earnings of £50,000+ per year.
- The opportunity to be your own boss.
- A rewarding career helping learners gain confidence and independence.
- Ongoing support from an experienced, family-run driving school.
With strong demand for driving lessons across our local area, many of our instructors enjoy busy diaries throughout the year.

Your Instructor Training
Most people qualify in 7–12 months, although some complete the process sooner depending on their availability.
We'll guide you through every stage of the DVSA ADI qualification process.
Step 1 – ADI Part 1: Theory Test
Prepare for the multiple-choice and hazard perception tests using our structured learning resources and expert support.
Step 2 – ADI Part 2: Driving Ability
Develop the advanced driving skills required to pass the DVSA practical driving assessment with confidence.
Step 3 – ADI Part 3: Instructional Ability
Learn how to deliver safe, professional driving lessons using modern coaching techniques and prepare for your final qualifying test.

Earn While You Train
After passing ADI Part 1 and Part 2, you may be eligible to apply for a DVSA Trainee Licence (Pink Badge).
This allows you to teach learner drivers while completing your instructor training, giving you valuable real-world experience and the opportunity to start earning before qualifying as a full ADI.
Our team will guide you through the trainee licence application and provide continued support until you qualify.
